Blue Ridge Youth Retreat exists to help teens seek and worship God in a creative, fun, encouraging atmosphere.
We are excited about seeing you at this retreat! Here are some helpful guidelines to make our week together a good one.

Campers

  • Campers are REQUIRED to attend all events.
  • Campers are to strive to keep a teachable and respectful attitude toward those investing time in you and toward each other.
  • All clothing, hats, etc. are to be positive in message and not have vulgarity or obscenities on them. This will be determined by camp staff.
  • All campers must wear modest (covering) clothing. Example: shorts to the knee and shirts that have sleeves. We want your time at BRYR to be focused on spiritual life development and we do not want you to be distracted.
  • Couples (male & female) are not to be alone at ANY time on or off of the camp ground. No campers are to leave the camp ground without permission from a camp leader or counselor.
  • Portable electronic devices are not allowed in service or at events. These devices are permitted in your cabins as long as what is being listened to or watched is (1) building Christian character (2) bringing you closer to Jesus and your friends (3) not disturbing others.
  • Whenever possible, each church is asked to provide counselors for their youth. All dorms will be under adult supervision.

SUPPLIES for YOU to bring:

  • Personal hygiene items, towels, bedding items such as, sleeping bag, pillow(s), blanket(s), sheet(s).
  • Bible
  • Two changes of clothing per day is sufficient. Casual is the setting.
  • The weather in Copper Hill, VA. can be unpredictable this time of the year. We recommend that you come prepared for cold nights and warm days. We will make every attempt in keeping you posted on the website as we get closer to the date.
